Exercise No. 2
The exercise is based upon the past tense. In addition to the three-letter verbs, the exercise introduces multi-letter verbs. افغال ثلاثى مزيد فيه
PLEASE CHANGE THE FOLLOWING TENSES AS IN THE PREVIOUS TWO EXAMPLES. THE SENTENCES GIVEN ARE IN THE FIRST PERON MALE SINGULAR FORM. CHANGE THESE TO FIRST PERSON FEMALE SINGULAR, SECOND PERSON MALE AND FEMALE SINGULAR, AND FIRST PERSON SINGULAR.

EXAMPLE:
 Hamid perfected his work. (Hamid accomplished his assignment perfectly) حامد اتقن عمله
فاطمة اتفنت عملها
انتَ اتقنتَ عملكَ
انتِ اتقنتِ عملكِ
انا اتقنتُ عملى
The name Hamid will not be mentioned in every sentence.English translation of these sentences will be given at the end of the exercise. Try to translate on your own first.

حامد رحٌب بصديقه المصري
اكرم ضيفه
استقبل والده فى المطار
تناول الدواء
قابل اصدقاءه فى المكتبة
اغلق شبابيك غرفته
سلٌم على استاذه فى الصباح
اكمل واجب المنزل
ساعد اخته فى تنظيف البيت
قدٌم الشاى للضيوف
نظٌف اسنانه بفرشاة الاسنان
مزٌق كرٌاسته القديم
ودٌع ابويه قبل الخروج من البيت
سافر الى مكة المكرمة لاداء الحج
He welcome his Egyptian friend.
He honored (respected) his guest.
He welcomed his father at the airport.
He took the medicine. 
He met his friends in the library.
He closed the windows of his room.
He greeted his teacher in the morning. (said "Assalam o Alaikum")
He completed his household chores.
He helped his sister in cleaning the house.
He presented the tea to the guests.
He cleaned his teeth with the tooth brush.
He tore up his old notebook.
He said good bye to his parents before leaving the house.
He traveled to the venerable Mecca for performing the Hajj.
