Grammar of classical Arabic.
From Lisan ul Quran volume 1
Exercise 3 on page 142
Translate the following sentences into Arabic.
I have the Urdu version of the book so I am translating the sentences into English.
Try to do the exercise on your own and then compare with the translation. There are 49 sentences. These will be presented in sets of five each.

1. Saleem traveled.
2. Did you (male singular) leave your books on the table?
3. Ayesha boarded the train.
4. I ate lunch and then left.
5. Khadija ate a sweet apple.


Arabic translation:
سافر سليم
هل تركتَ كتبك على الطاولة؟
ركبت عائشة القطار
تغديتُ ثم رجعتُ
أكلت خديجة تفاحة حلوة
6. O Ayesha did you clean the big room?له7. Khalid ate the delicious meat and thanked Allah SWT.
8. The naughty boy tore apart the expensive clothe.
9. Little Fatima woke up.
10. I woke up early morning.

Arabic translation:
يا عائشة هل نظفتِ غرفة كبيرة؟
أكل خالدٌ لحماً لذيذاً و شكر اللهَ
مزق الولد الشرير ثوباً ثميناً
استيقظت فاطمة صغيرة
استيقظتُ مبكراً
